In recognition of the professionalism, dedication, and outstanding performance of two Citoyen team members, Citoyen’s management committee has promoted Audrey Ann Laurin and Valérie Chamula to Associate Director and Senior Account Manager, respectively.

Over the years, Audrey Ann has demonstrated considerable expertise in communications and marketing, for both marketing and corporate communications. She has developed a flair for strategic planning, media and influencer relations, crisis management, event planning, and social media management. Since joining Citoyen, Audrey Ann has made a hefty contribution to the agency’s growth thanks to the quality of her work and her knack for building relationships of trust with her clients.

“I’m extremely proud and delighted to welcome Audrey Ann to our corporate communications team,” said François Vaqué, VP, Public Relations and Corporate Affairs. “As someone with a can-do attitude who is enthusiastic, meticulous, and dedicated to her clients and the company, she truly deserves her promotion as Associate Director.” Audrey Ann holds a bachelor’s in communications and politics from Université de Montréal and a master’s in marketing from HEC Montréal.

“I’m very proud and excited to start this next chapter at Citoyen,” said Audrey Ann. “Besides proving just how much the company believes in its employees, my promotion is recognition of everything I’ve done to make a difference at Citoyen since my first day here. I’m ready to take on my new role and work with my colleagues at Citoyen to deliver effective and strategic advice to our clients.”

As for Valérie, she puts her intimate knowledge of the political arena to good use in public affairs, and corporate communications. She also draws on her exceptional abilities in public relations to deliver amazing results for a number of Citoyen clients, despite the rapidly changing media industry. Valérie started her career in politics, working on issues as varied as education, the economy, health, and the environment. Alain Madgin, Senior Vice President, is quick to praise his colleague. “I’m very happy about her new position. It underscores our commitment to promoting employees internally and strengthening their professional development. It’s also very good news for our clients, who will benefit from Valérie’s expertise in her new role. The experience she’s accumulated with us will be put to good use in her work on public relations.”

“I’m very excited about my promotion,” said Valérie. “It’s gratifying to be recognized for my energy and hard work and the results I’ve delivered since joining the Citoyen team. At Citoyen, I work with clients and colleagues who all are incredibly good at what they do. It makes coming to work a real pleasure.”
