Nouvelles Citoyen Grows Its Team to Deliver New Projects
Citoyen is constantly expanding its team to develop communication strategies that enable its clients to achieve their goals and do much more. We’re proud to welcome new talent and promote our current team members.
Yasmine joins Citoyen’s team as an account manager. She has been working in communications, event management, branding, and media relations for over eight years. After graduating, Yasmine landed a job in press and media relations at Evenko, Canada’s biggest independent event promoter. There she developed an even keener interest in the entertainment, music, and cultural industries. She then worked for Bell Media and CanadaNightlife.ca and completed several freelance assignments. Prior to joining the team, Yasmine was part of Deloitte Canada’s Public Relations Department, where she supported national campaigns and assisted partners across the country with their media projects. Yasmine holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications and a certificate in business administration from Université du Québec à Montréal.

Carmel’s enthusiasm, efficiency, and curiosity made her stand out during her internship with Citoyen.

We believe she’ll help drive the firm’s expansion, since she dives fully into every project she undertakes. Carmel holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Université de Montréal and has a keen interest in influencer marketing and its role in enhancing business visibility. She continuously draws on her experience to help deliver projects for clients like Pepsico, Molson, the Rideau Hall Foundation, Kijiji, and Home Depot.
In his studies at Université Laval for a bachelor’s degree in communications, Raphaël shined among his cohort, earning an internship at Gala de la relève en communication. His involvement in his program’s student association, his work/study balance, and his keen interest in Vision7 International make him the ideal candidate. His experience working for a financial institution enabled him to not only develop advisory service expertise, but also observe the various communication strategies employed to promote the organization. “We’re proud to add such rising stars to our team,” said Fanny Laurin, Account Manager. “Raphaël is already an integral part of our team, and everyone appreciates his proactivity and great professionalism.” He believes that, now more than ever, focusing on customer experience, organizational culture, social responsibility, and stakeholder relations are what makes a company stand out in the marketplace. Raphaël joins the firm as an intern to support the corporate communications and marketing communications teams.
