Fall is promotion time at Citoyen, and we’re pleased to announce that Mélina Jalbert and Raphaël Boies have respectively been offered positions as Account Manager, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications and Account Executive. The agency fosters professional development by recognizing team members’ talents and giving them an opportunity to grow.

Since arriving at Citoyen, Mélina Jalbert has drawn notice for her professionalism, project management skills, and media relations expertise. A keen listener and observer, she’s adept at gleaning important behavioural insights that have served to guide successful projects for Dyson, Indeed, UQAM, Fortinet, Ville de Laval, Lime, Intuit, Reflector Entertainment, Bimbo Canada, and others. Citoyen is proud to appoint her to the position of Account Manager, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications mere months after her arrival as Senior Account Executive. It’s proof that her versatility and active participation have made her an invaluable member of the Citoyen team.

“At a time when talent retention is increasingly difficult, it’s always highly rewarding to see a gifted professional like Mélina grow, thrive, and move up as a member of our agency team. This promotion recognizes her hard work, strategic vision, and unwavering dedication to clients and colleagues alike,” said François Vaqué, Senior Vice President and General Manager.

Raphaël Boies first arrived at Citoyen as an intern and quickly made an impression for his keen sense of organization, his ability to adapt to new surroundings, and his writing and media relations skills. In the course of just a few months, Raphaël adeptly handled a series of projects for clients such as Indeed, Ville de Laval, Amazon Canada, and Molson. After this successful internship, Citoyen had no hesitations about offering him an official position with the agency as an Account Executive.

“There’s always something special about giving a young professional their first chance on the job market. We’re firm believers in young talents, and we’re delighted to give them an opportunity to thrive and grow in an exciting agency environment. Raphaël’s lively curiosity, open-minded outlook, and already impressive professionalism make him a great addition to our Quebec City office,” said François Vaqué, Senior Vice President and General Manager.

In addition to these announcements, we have also been pleased to welcome to the team our Public Affairs and Corporate Communications intern, Annie Robitaille.
